Guide to Authors

1. Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be submitted electronically as a Microsoft Word file (.doc or .docx) via email to: rsp@researchsignpost.net
  • Figures should be submitted as high-resolution images in JPEG, or PNGformat. Please avoid low-resolution or compressed files. 
  • Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration or published elsewhere. Simultaneous submissions to multiple journals are strictly prohibited. 
  • Authors are advised to confirm receipt of their manuscript within 2-3 business days by contacting the editorial office.

2. Language and Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English. Authors are responsible for language quality. Use professional editing services if needed.
  • Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, with 1.5 line spacing throughout the manuscript.
  •  Embed tables and figures within the manuscript at the appropriate points. If this is not possible, provide them as separate files and indicate their intended  placement.
  • Manuscripts should ideally be between 15-25 pages (A4 size: 21cm x29.7cm) including references, tables, and figures.

3. Manuscript Structure

  • Title Page: Should include the manuscript title, full names of authors, their institutional affiliations, and contact email for the corresponding author. Provide a short running title (max 50 characters) for page headers.
  • Abstract: Provide a concise summary of the work (150-250 words), clearly stating the objectives, methods, main results, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: Include 3-6 relevant keywords after the abstract.
  • Main Text: Structure the body with appropriate section headings such as (INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHODS, RESULTS, DISCUSSION, and CONCLUSION), or as appropriate to the study.
  • References: Cite references in the text using numbers in square brackets (e.g., [1,2]) in order of appearance. List references numerically at the end of the manuscript in the following style:

                  Journal article: Author(s). Year. Title. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), page numbers.

                  Example: Fu H., Yun H., Kwei T.K., Okamoto Y. 1998. Synthesis of polymerchains. J. Polym. Sci. 36(8), 1425-1434.

                  Book: Author(s). Year. Book Title. Publisher, Place of publication.

                  Example: Koenig J.L. 1980. Chemical Microstructure of Polymer Chains. John Wiley & Sons, New York.

                  Edited book chapter: Author(s). Year. Title of chapter. In Editor(s) (Ed.), Book Title, Publisher, Place of publication, pages.

                  Example: Okaya T., Ikari K. 1992. Polyvinyl alcohol development. In Finch C.A.(Ed.), Polymer Advances, John Wiley &                                             .                 Sons, Chichester, pp. 195-210.

                  Ensure that every reference cited in the text appears in the reference lisand vice versa.


4. Tables and Figures

  • Tables should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals (Table1, Table 2, etc.) and include a concise descriptive title.
  • Figures should be clear, with uniform line thickness, legible labels (approx. 1mm in height), and high resolution (at least 300 dpi).
  • Scientific names must be italicized or underlined.

5. Ethical Considerations

  • Manuscripts must comply with ethical standards applicable to the research field (e.g., human or animal studies require prior approval from relevant ethics committees).
  • Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
  • All sources of funding must be acknowledged.

6. Copyright and Permissions

  • Upon acceptance, authors transfer copyright of the article to the publisher.
  • Authors must secure permissions for any third-party copyrighted material (e.g., tables, figures) used in the manuscript and provide documentation upon submission.

7. Publication Charges

  • Article Processing Charges (APCs): For electronic publication: USD $300 for 1-12 page (extra $25 for each page
  • These fees cover editing, formatting, proofreading, and hosting.

8. Review Process and Publication Timeline

  • Manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening followed by peer review.
  •  Authors will receive reviewer comments and may be asked to revise accordingly.
  • Average time from submission to publication varies but typically ranges from 8 to 12 weeks.
